The Filtrona Super Slim Carbon Paper Dual filter is a two segment filter constructed with a carbon paper filter segment. This filter combines the characteristics of two different filtration materials with the benefit of added activated carbon to provide a filter with a high level of tar and nicotine retention.

Construction of Super Slim Carbon Paper Dual Filter

The Super Slim Carbon Paper Dual filter consists of two segments. The tobacco segment is constructed with paper coated in activated carbon powder, while the mouth segment is high-quality crimped cellulose acetate.

Both segments are enclosed in a plugwrap which can be either standard or porous depending on ventilation requirements. Alternatively, the mouth segment can use non-wrapped acetate for a high-quality end appearance. The filter segments are then wrapped in an outer plugwrap which can also be standard or porous depending on the required ventilation.
