The Filtrona Super Slim Tube Dual filter is a two segment filter constructed with a tube running through the mouth end segment. This novel end appearance can be further enhanced by the use of coloured material in the tobacco end segment.

Construction of Super Slim Tube Dual Filter
The Super Slim Tube Dual filter consists of a tobacco and mouth segment of high-quality crimped cellulose acetate fibres which can be coloured to increase product differentiation. Alternatively, the tobacco segment can be constructed from paper for a high level of tar and nicotine retention. Additional plasticiser and cellulose acetate in the mouth segment means that the structure of the Super Slim Tube Dual filter is firmer than the standard Mono-Acetate filter to ensure a quality end appearance.
The cellulose acetate in the mouth segment is formed around a mandrel to create a void in the material.
The filter is enclosed in an outer plugwrap which can be either standard or porous depending on ventilation requirements.
