Construction of Shaped Plastic Filter

The Shaped Plastic filter consists of a tobacco and mouth segments. The tobacco segment is high-quality crimped cellulose acetate or paper, while the mouth segment is a hollow tube constructed from plastic and moulded into various shapes.

The tobacco end segment is enclosed in a plugwrap which can be either standard or porous depending on ventilation requirements. The filter is then wrapped in an outer plugwrap which can be either standard or porous depending on the required ventilation.

The filter tip colour, configuration, length, circumference, pressure drop, and shape of the plastic segment can be varied to suit a particular brand and to meet the taste and filtration requirements of the customer.
