Benefit of Pop-a-Tip™

The Filtrona Pop-a-Tip™ is a series of filter tips wrapped in a transparent film which can be popped out for Roll-Your-Own products. The transparent film ensures that the tips are protected before use, while providing the opportunity to add brand sophistication and value. This filter is available in both slim and super-slim variants.

Construction of Pop-a-Tip™

The Pop-a-Tip™ consists of non-wrapped high-quality crimped cellulose acetate fibres which are bonded together with a controlled amount of plasticiser to give a firm structure. A desired number of filter tips are enclosed in a wrap of transparent film (made, for example, of either cellophane or bi-axially orientated polypropylene). Pop-a-tips can also be manufactured using other products from our range, Randomly Orientated Acetate™, Active Patch™ and Cavitec™ product, for example, so please contact us for further details.

The filter tip length, circumference, and pressure drop can be varied to suit the taste and filtration requirements of the customer.
