Joint Developments

An increasingly large part of our R&D work is joint development projects in partnership with our customers, in which either we, or our customer, have a concept for a new brand or a brand modification. We will work exclusively for that customer to develop the concept into a finished product.

Our joint development process covers all stages within the New Product Development cycle, managing a project from concept generation and evaluation through implementation and to commercial supply of finished product.  Building on over 60 years of experience of developing and supplying filters, our capabilities to support this process include:

Development Facility
A dedicated pilot development facility equipped with a range of highly flexible filter-making equipment, allowing sample manufacture and evaluation at the early stages of the process

Scientific Services
A scientific services area funded, equipped and manned to provided key analytical, research and testing support to these developments

Engineering
A multi-disciplined engineering team to support the design, rapid prototyping and testing of new production processes

Project Management Team
A team of trained and experienced Project Managers to coordinate activities throughout the development and implementation phases

Commercialisation Team
Our Commercialisation Team ensures that, by following structured protocols and working closely with our Global Operations Team, the implementation of developments into production areas is facilitated in the most efficient manner
