As part of its Corporate Social Responsibility Programme this year, Filtrona Filters Indonesia (Indofil) are renovating a local school in the region of Sidoarjo, which is where Indofil is based. The school is a government elementary school in the village of Jeruk Legi, in Balong Bendo, Sidorajo.

The renovation is a long-term project which will take place over the next few years, and Indofil are currently finalising the project with the school's management.

• Phase 1 is to improve safety conditions by renovating the five existing classrooms and teacher room to provide a new roof and undertake wall and ceiling repairs.
• Phase 2 involves building a new classroom to accommodate the children of the community.
• Phase 3 involves providing a library and improving general facilities in the school.
