Benefits of Insight™ filter
The Filtrona Insight™ filter comprises of two separate filter segments surrounding a cavity containing granular activated coloured carbon. A unique characteristic of the Insight™ is that it uses a transparent plug wrap paper, giving a very distinctive appearance and allowing the consumer to view the inner workings of the filter.

Construction of Insight™ filter
The Insight™ filter consists of a tobacco and mouth segment of high quality crimped acetate surrounding a central cavity. The tobacco segment can be loaded with activated carbon or constructed from paper to further increase the flexibility of this filter. The cavity is filled with granular activated coloured carbon.
The outer two segments and the cavity are wrapped in a transparent plugwrap. The central cavity is created as the filter segments are wrapped in an outer plugwrap.
A wide range of configurations, lengths, circumferences, and additive loadings and types can be selected. This ensures each construction is precisely designed to suit the taste and filtration requirements of the customer and enhance a particular brand.
