The Filtrona Randomly Orientated Acetate™ filter is manufactured by an innovative, patent-pending process using high-quality crimped cellulose acetate fibres which are bonded in a non-uniform, random construction. This gives a significantly lighter filter which can be used to reduce tar and nicotine delivery. This filter is available in both slim and super-slim variants.

The Randomly Orientated Acetate™ filter also offers a number of other key benefits:
Randomly Orientated Acetate™ is part of the Advantage Range
The Randomly Orientated Acetate™ filter consists of high-quality crimped cellulose acetate staple fibres which are orientated randomly in an interlocked web. These are bonded together with a controlled amount of plasticiser to give a firm structure. The filter is enclosed in an outer plugwrap which can be either standard or porous depending on ventilation requirements.
The structure of interlocked web of randomly orientated fibres differs from the traditional acetate filters which have continuous, essentially parallel, fibres.
The filter tip length, circumference, and pressure drop can be varied to suit the taste and filtration requirements of the customer. This can be achieved with a density that is significantly lower than a standard Mono-Acetate filter.
