Benefits of Infused Filter

Refine the possible. The filter, patented by Filtrona Filter Products, has been developed to maximise the strengths of paper and this includes offering up to 40% higher tar retention than standard mono-acetate filters*.

• Higher levels of tar and nicotine retention compared to the standard Mono-Acetate filter
• Improved taste similar to standard cellulose acetate filters
• Degrades and biodegrades more rapidly than filters constructed with cellulose acetate
• Enhanced phenol removal (similar to cellulose acetate) optional

Construction of Infused Filter

The Infused filter consists of mono paper that will be treated with liquid additive(s). Additive can be varied to suit requirements of the customer. This is enclosed in an outer plug wrap which can be either standard or porous depending on the ventilation requirements. The filter tip length, circumference, and pressure drop can be varied to suit the taste and filtration requirements of the customer.
