Filtrona Filter Products having been working closely with activated carbon suppliers to develop a range of coloured carbons which retain comparable levels of activity with standard carbon. The first set of colours available for commercial production include blue and red.  We can also work closely with you to produce any number of customised colours.

Increased structural integrity

As part of the development process for producing coloured carbon, the granules were coated in a polymer which increased the structural integrity. This means that these new carbon granules are less susceptible to break up during production and provide a cleaner process. This protective polymer can be used with or without the colours.
